Shivani joined Share Lawyers in 2025, immediately following her call to the bar. As a member of the firm’s disability law team, Shivani works closely with clients throughout the litigation process and conducts examinations for discovery. Prior to practising law, Shivani earned her BA in Philosophy and Biology at McMaster University, where she later completed an MA thesis exploring the epistemic validity of empathy. Since graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School, Shivani has drawn on her education to provide empathetic client services and make the legal process as accessible and straightforward as possible.

In her free time Shivani enjoys exploring Toronto, trying new restaurants and cafes, shopping, and attending concerts. When she isn’t out on the town, she’s home watching anime and snuggling with her yorkie.
