Hola! I’m Penny Bubu — professional cuddler, treat inspector, squirrel chaser, and proud Mexican-Canadian.

I was found lost in Mexico with a pellet lodged in my leg, so before I could make my journey to Canada, I went through surgery. Thankfully, with the help of a rescue organization, wonderful people, and my mom, Eva, I flew to Canada in 2022 with nine other adopted dogs. Naturally, I consider myself the pack’s official ambassador.

I’m a nine-year-young Labeagle who loves naps almost as much as walks. But the moment I spot a squirrel, my inner hunter springs to life—so, retirement is officially cancelled!

I’m a woman of few words. I rarely bark. And toys? Never understood the hype. I didn’t grow up with them in Mexico, so all I need are cuddles, mom, treats, and a squirrel to chase.

Long story short, Canada saved my life and mom rescued me, but between you and me… I think we rescued each other.
