Professional Experience
Leanne Goldstein is counsel at Share Lawyers. Leanne was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. For more than two decades, Leanne has tirelessly advocated for individuals whose benefits have been wrongfully denied by insurance companies. Leanne has an extensive range of litigation experience before various courts and tribunals and has participated as counsel in hundreds of mediations. Prior to 2002, Leanne practiced at a large international law firm. After 2002, she practiced at one of the top ten personal injury law firms in Ontario before devoting the next 18 years to representing individuals denied long term disability benefits. Leanne regularly speaks at professional organizations including the Long-Term Disability Section of the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association. Leanne has authored multiple published articles and a book chapter on Critical Illness. Leanne serves as a mentor for the Law Practice Program through TMU, is a Board Member of Family Services of Peel, volunteers for disability-related charitable causes and provides legal education and services pro bono to community legal clinics. *Leanne Goldstein Law Professional Corporation acts as independent counsel and is not an employee, associate, or partner.
