Panic disorder, depending on the severity, can become a disabling condition. Health Canada states that the symptoms of panic disorder can include: chest pain, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, stomach discomfort, feelings of unreality, fear of dying. Further, if you avoid situations that may cause a panic attack, the condition is known as panic disorder with agoraphobia.
