Is it Really No Fees Unless We Win?
It is true that we don’t charge legal fees until we recover money for you. Most of our clients prefer the “no win/no fee” method of paying us as it minimizes the risk of proceeding with your case. Where the case is settled our fee is a percentage of the settlement plus disbursements and applicable taxes. The percentage is something we will discuss with you and agree upon before starting your case. This type of a fee agreement is called a Contingency Fee Retainer, as the legal fees are contingent upon money being recovered for you.
In some cases, we will agree to accept a case based on a more traditional hourly fee basis, however, in those cases, the fees are payable regardless of the outcome of the case, which is why most people prefer contingency fees.
