How Long Does LTD Last?

This will depend on the specific terms of your policy. Most group LTD policies have an own occupation period (often 24 months) and an any occupation period that usually goes to age 65. With greater frequency we are seeing policies that have a much shorter maximum time-frame, such as 5 years. To be sure you must check the terms of your specific policy.
