You must submit the necessary forms (available online at: https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/corporate/portfolio/service-canada.html) and provide medical information from your treating physicians that satisfy the Canada Pension Plan that you are suffering from a serious and prolonged disability that prevents you from being gainfully employed. Your disability need not be permanent in order to qualify for a Canada Pension Plan disability benefit.
