Despite this, many other factors are involved in deriving a reasonable estimate of your claim, such as: your clinical notes and records, any offsets such as CPP or severance, or potential bad faith and punitive damages against the insurer. Some of this information may not become available to your lawyer, until a law suit has been filed, and documents between the parties have been exchanged.
