Can I Claim A Long Term Disability If I Have Arthritis?

Disability Benefits - Question 54
Depending on the severity of the symptoms, Arthritis can become a long-term disability. There are two types of arthritis. The first is osteoarthritis which involves wear and tear to your joint’s cartilage. The second is called rheumatoid arthritis in which “the body's immune system attacks the lining of the joint capsule, a tough membrane that encloses all the joint parts.” This can eventually degrade both your cartilage and your bones.
