Are Workplace Injuries Eligible Disabilities Under Long-Term Disability Plans?
Workplace injuries would qualify as eligible disabilities under most LTD plans, however, the plan or policy may require you to submit the claim through Workers’ Compensation (WSIB in Ontario) and amounts received through WSIB may result in no further benefits being payable under the LTD plan.
