Share Lawyers - Where It All Started
Share Lawyers has come a long way from its' modest beginning. In 1987, we opened the first office, which was then known as David Share Associates. The first office was opened in South Common Mall in Mississauga, providing a menu of legal services, including personal injury, real estate, divorces, separation agreements and wills. Over time, several other offices were opened in and around the Greater Toronto area (Mississauga, North York, Brampton and Scarborough), leading ultimately to the firm focusing only on insurance litigation.
Share Lawyers Services
The original concept behind opening offices in storefront locations was to break down the traditional barriers to access to legal advice by making lawyers more approachable without a large upfront financial commitment.

I spent many years travelling to these branch offices to see personal injury and insurance clients in their local communities. My home office was in North York but on Tuesday afternoons I was in Scarborough and on Thursdays I was in Mississauga and Brampton.
From the very beginning Share Lawyers offered a very personal service focused on providing caring and compassionate advocacy for the disabled and injured. We built a reputation based on tireless representation and straight negotiating with insurance companies who respect the integrity with which we advocate on behalf of our clients.
Share Lawyers Reputation
As the reputation of Share Lawyers grew in the insurance field, clients from all over Ontario and other parts of Canada have sought us out and by 1997, the operations of the firm were centralized in the office on Yonge Street in North Toronto. Since 1997, clients have travelled to our iconic building on Yonge Street to meet with us to discuss their cases. This office is close to Highway 401 which provides easy access from most parts of Southern Ontario. For those who have difficulty travelling or a long way away from Toronto, we have provided free telephone consults.
While we no longer have offices in local shopping malls, through the use of technology and the internet, we remain committed to keeping access to our services readily available through modern technology. We continue to keep on top of new innovations that enable us to provide the most efficient service possible for our clients.
