Don’t Feel Like You Have To Do It All

Often, cancer patients feel pressure to always maintain a cheery and positive for those around them. But you are only human! If you are having a down day or in pain, it’s important to recognize those emotions and physical symptoms so that you are able to make your way through your illness. Keep a diary of your symptoms and feelings, take time for self-care, and ask for what you need. Eat well, relax, and get enough rest.

Staying active doesn’t just mean physical exercise. Try to stay engaged with your social circles with those whom you share common interests in.
